Abstract

Objective To summarize the clinical application of Xiaofeng powder in the treatment of skin diseases and to investigate its mechanisms of action. This study analyzes the chemical constituents of the individual herbs in Xiaofeng powder, summarizes common causes of skin diseases, and examines how Xiaofeng powder addresses these underlying causes. Xiaofeng powder can treat inflammatory conditions and possesses antioxidant, anti-allergic, and immunomodulatory effects. Conclusion: Xiaofeng powder is primarily indicated for various skin diseases characterized by “wind, dampness, and heat” and can serve as a standard treatment option for such conditions.
