Abstract

Chronic Atrophic Gastritis (CAG) is a common chronic disease of the digestive system, which is mainly characterized by atrophy of gastric mucosal epithelium and glands, reduction in number, thinning of gastric mucosa, often accompanied by intestinal epithelial hyperplasia and inflammatory reaction. In recent years, with the accelerated pace of life and changes in dietary habits, the incidence of chronic atrophic gastritis has been increasing year by year, seriously threatening human health. The aim of this paper is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the research progress of chronic atrophic gastritis by reviewing the literature on the subject in recent years.
