Abstract

"Spleen is the guard" means that the spleen has the function of resisting external evils and warming the body. "The spleen loses its guard". When the spleen is weak, phlegm, turbidity and blood stasis will invade the body and develop into metabolism-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD). Dysregulation of intestinal flora can lead to the occurrence and development of MAFLD, so we can treat MAFLD by regulating intestinal flora as the target.
