Abstract

In the context of China’s large cruise independent construction achieving major breakthroughs with the delivery of “Adora Magic City,” cruise interior outfitting—the most complex high-end marine equipment—faces challenges from traditional on-site construction. This study systematically explores modular prefabrication assembly technology for cruise interiors, constructing a framework covering digital driving, standardized design, factory pre-outfitting, precision hoisting and lifecycle management. Based on domestic cruise construction data, it analyzes key technologies including BIM digital twin, standardized interfaces, assembly line production and on-site positioning, revealing coupling with customized design. Results show modular technology reduces single cabin installation from 200 to under 50 hours, shortens outfitting by over 8 months, significantly improving quality and cost control, providing theoretical and practical support for China’s cruise batch construction and high-end marine equipment competitiveness.
