In recent years, acupuncture has been widely used in clinical practice for the treatment of diseases related to mammary hyperplasia. By synthesizing relevant domestic and foreign literature, it can be known from this article that the mechanisms of acupuncture in treating mammary hyperplasia are very complex and diverse. The currently known mechanisms include regulating the endocrine system, regulating receptor signal transduction, improving blood circulation, regulating immune system function, and regulating gene expression. Although there are still difficulties in clarifying many mechanisms of blocking the transformation of mammary hyperplasia into tumors, this cannot overshadow the role of acupuncture as a safe and effective method for treating mammary hyperplasia.
