Abstract

With the increase in the incidence rate of lumbar disc herniation year by year, finding effective treatment has become one of the important directions of medical research. As an important part of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion show unique advantages and potential in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. By collecting and sorting out the relevant literature on the treatment of lumbar disc herniation with acupuncture and moxibustion in recent years, this paper summarizes the characteristics of acupuncture and moxibustion in the clinical treatment of this disease, summarizes the latest research status of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, and looks forward to its future development.
