Against the backdrop of globalization and the Chinese culture "Going Global", translation has evolved from mere linguistic conversion into a core carrier of intercultural communication. The integration of intercultural communication theories and translation studies has become a prominent academic focus. Taking core journal papers published in China from 2016 to 2025 as research objects, the study sorts out the research context of this field over the past decade, analyzes the application mechanism of core intercultural communication theories in translation practice, and discusses controversial issues in current research, so as to provide theoretical references for cultural international communication and professional industrial translation practices in the new era.
