When the body develops CHF, as the disease progresses, patients will experience negative emotions such as anxiety and depression, which further aggravate the condition and seriously affect the prognosis. Currently, clinical practice mostly focuses on the treatment of CHF, often neglecting the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety and depression symptoms. This article explores the main treatment methods for CHF combined with anxiety and depression symptoms, the understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic heart failure combined with anxiety and depression by traditional Chinese medicine, summarizes the commonly used therapeutic methods and prescriptions as well as the unique traditional Chinese medicine therapies, in order to provide reference for clinical practice.
