Research Progress of Zhongjing’s Xiexin Decoction-Type Formulas in the Treatment of Chronic Gastritis

Abstract

Helicobacter pylori infection is closely related to chronic gastritis. Traditional Chinese medicine has rich experience and a theoretical system for treating chronic gastritis. According to literature research, Chinese herbal medicine has the advantages of good efficacy and few side effects and is widely used in clinical treatment. Xiexin Decoction-type formulas can effectively treat chronic gastritis, mainly through eradication of Helicobacter pylori, repair of the gastric mucosa, and reduction of inflammatory factors. Based on relevant literature, this article discusses the mechanisms, principles, and corresponding pathways and targets of Xiexin Decoction-type formulas. It explores the application of Chinese medicine in treating chronic gastritis from macroscopic and microscopic perspectives, providing a theoretical basis for the treatment of chronic gastritis with Chinese medicine.
