Abstract

This study, based on the “Jin governs Yi and Geng” meridian relationship theory, deeply analyzes the pathophysiological connections of colorectal cancer metastasis to the liver and lungs. It is proposed that in the pathogenesis of liver and lung metastasis in colorectal cancer, the mutual generation and restraint of the Five Elements is the core mechanism of metastasis, the balance of Qi, blood, Yin, and Yang in the viscera is the primary condition for metastasis, and the interconnection of the meridians is the key pathway for metastasis. This paper analyzes the traditional Chinese medical theoretical mechanisms of liver and lung metastasis in colorectal cancer, and on this basis, it expands the relevant theories with the aim of providing a theoretical basis and practical guidance for clinical treatment.
