Abstract

The adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in physiotherapy and rehabilitation is transforming traditional practices by improving diagnostic accuracy, treatment customization, and patient outcomes. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of AI - assisted physiotherapy, examining its role in enhancing recovery speed, providing personalized therapy, and increasing patient engagement. Using a mixed - method approach, we conducted interviews with physiotherapy experts and surveyed 120 patients who have undergone AI - supported rehabilitation. Findings reveal that AI interventions significantly contributed to faster recovery times, with the majority of patients reporting improved outcomes and higher satisfaction levels compared to conventional treatments. Despite these advantages, challenges such as high implementation costs and data security concerns persist. This study highlights the promising future of AI in rehabilitation while identifying areas that require attention for more widespread and secure application.
