In recent years, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has demonstrated its advantages in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. This article aims to explore the pathogenesis and treatment of post-chemotherapy lung cancer based on the “Cultivating Earth to Generate Metal” theory. The pathogenesis of post-chemotherapy lung cancer involves deficiency of lung and spleen qi. In clinical practice, methods such as tonifying the lung, strengthening the spleen, promoting qi flow, and resolving blood stasis are employed. By regulating the spleen and stomach to stimulate the lung to restore its normal physiological functions, this approach provides a new perspective for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of post-chemotherapy lung cancer.
