Abstract

Insomnia, as a common disease, has various clinical manifestations, and is more prominent in the elderly for various reasons. Traditional sedative sleeping pills have many side effects and significant adverse reactions. Clinical treatment urgently needs to seek more ideal treatment methods and means. This paper reviews the traditional clinical treatment of chronic insomnia in the elderly in recent years, including traditional Chinese medicine, massage, acupuncture, application, auricular points, moxibustion and so on. In order to provide reference for clinical treatment and provide ideas for subsequent research.
