Preventive Medicine is the current mainstream approach in Traditional Chinese Medicine for health preservation. Integrating theoretical knowledge on preventive medicine acquired through study and contemporary developments, this research explores both ancient and modern theories and applications of preventive medicine, drawing from classical texts and expanded treatment and prevention protocols developed by contemporary scholars. Method: This paper collects, organizes, categorizes, and summarizes various domestic literature from ancient and modern times. Conclusion: The theory of treating disease before it manifests offers therapeutic approaches applicable across all clinical disciplines, demonstrating broad applicability and promising prospects. It holds unique value in the field of preventive healthcare.
