Abstract

Chronic cough has become a common disease that troubles People’s Daily lives. However, the high cost of treatment plans and the side effects after taking medicine make patients neglect this disease. We report a simple and effective new treatment plan Case Introduction: A female was diagnosed with chronic cough. For over two years, the cough has recurred intermittently and worsened for three months, seriously affecting her daily life. Oral medication was ineffective, but the cough still occurred frequently. This case report provides a new basis for the treatment of chronic cough with electroacupuncture combined with acupoint embedding.
