Comparative Analysis of Piracy Governance in the Gulf of Aden and the Strait of Malacca

Piracy has a long history, and its connotation is constantly evolving with The Times and social changes. After entering the 21st century, the new trend and changes of piracy gradually emerged. Based on the comparison of the quantity, motivation and governance mode of piracy activities in the Gulf of Aden and the Strait of Malacca, the paper analyzed the shortcomings of intelligence sharing mechanism and other aspects in the process of governance.
