Abstract

In this article, the study will identify the related factors that influence the BMI value in teenagers aged 16-17 years old who study in high school located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The processes focus on collecting the BMI data from all 1,528 students and clarifying them into 5 categories, i.e., very thin, thin, slim, chubby, and fat, to analyze the factors, which are selected from reliable sources. The study revealed that 77% of participants are classified as slim and thin BMI categories. This means that general students have a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, the BMI factors questionnaire demonstrates that the primary impact factors appear to be stress level and frequency of alcohol consumption.
