This article investigates into the intricate nature of time, examining its significance in the realms of both Indian philosophical tradition and modern scientific theories. While the concept of time has evolved over millennia in Indian thought, its relation to the origin of the universe remains a compelling inquiry. This exploration particularly focuses on the Nasadiya Sukta, a Vedic hymn that contemplates the genesis of the cosmos. Drawing parallels with modern scientific understandings, the article discusses the emergence of time, the interplay of space and time, and the interrelation between change and time consciousness. By juxtaposing ancient philosophical insights with contemporary scientific findings, the article aims to shed light on the philosophical conceptions and implications of time.
