Abstract

With the rapid and high-quality development of the economy, the disposable income of Chinese residents has continued to grow. The main social contradiction in China is the contradiction between the people’s growing needs for a better life and the unbalanced and inadequate development, which requires the social security system to play a role as a social stabilizer for residents, to protect people’s lives and improve their living standards. The social security system plays a certain role in the three distributions of residents’ income. It has the advantages of ensuring the minimum income, reducing income inequality and promoting national development. However, at the same time, it also has limitations, involving the entire process of income distribution, which needs to be solved urgently.
