With the continuous advancement of medical technology and the growing demand for healthcare services, the development of “New Medicine” disciplines has become a prominent issue in medical education in China, particularly as the dental prosthetics sector has expanded into a market exceeding 120 billion yuan with an annual compound growth rate above 15%.Against this backdrop, the construction of medical specialty clusters in higher vocational colleges is of particular importance. Taking the dental technology specialty cluster as a case study, this paper explores pathways for developing medical specialty clusters in higher vocational colleges from multiple dimensions, including cluster formation logic, program design, teaching resources, and the construction of practical teaching bases. The study aims to provide a useful reference for the development of dental technology specialty clusters in higher vocational education.
