Abstract

The teaching reform of water conservancy engineering needs to adapt to the demand for high-quality engineering talents in the new era, which is explored in this paper. The main ideas of reform should include student-centred teaching mode, emphasis on practical ability training and integration of innovation and entrepreneurship education. Specific practical measures should include adjusting the course structure, adding new courses, strengthening practical teaching, introducing case studies, carrying out project-based learning, using modern educational technology, strengthening laboratory construction, expanding internship bases, perfecting the graduation design process, and encouraging teacher training and teamwork to comprehensively improve the quality of teaching and students' overall quality.
