Abstract

Project management in civil construction continues to face persistent challenges, including inefficiencies that result in cost overruns and schedule delays. This study identifies best practices and examines key managerial obstacles, with the aim of enhancing project execution effectiveness and efficiency. A comprehensive literature review was conducted, focusing on financial control, planning, and scheduling techniques. The findings underscore the critical need for improved integration across administrative, financial, and planning functions, and highlight systemic gaps that impede performance.
