Abstract

This paper examines the surge of entrepreneurship within the gig economy, a labor market defined by flexible, short-term work often enabled by digital platforms. It investigates how individuals leverage these platforms to build innovative businesses, while grappling with challenges such as income uncertainty, regulatory ambiguity, and limited social protections. Through a blend of qualitative insights and case studies, the study reveals opportunities like scalability and global reach, offering a balanced view of this evolving economic landscape and its implications for the future of work.
