Abstract

This study investigates the effect of organizational innovation on green innovation performance and the moderating role of the synergy between external innovation resources and government policies. Analyzing survey data from 330 firms in China’s Pearl River Delta via structural equation modeling, we find that organizational innovation significantly boosts green performance, and this positive effect is strengthened by the interaction of resources and policy support. The findings highlight the complementarity of firm-level initiatives and government interventions in fostering sustainable innovation.
