Abstract

Access to modern laboratory infrastructure remains a significant barrier in rural colleges, particularly for computer science education. This paper presents a framework for implementing AI-powered virtual labs tailored to the needs of rural institutions. It explores the integration of artificial intelligence to create adaptive, interactive, and cost-effective lab experiences. The study highlights the pedagogical advantages, technological feasibility, and implementation challenges, ultimately proposing a model for enhancing digital equity in education. A case study involving a pilot deployment in a rural college demonstrates the model's effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes and engagement.
