As an essential art form in Chinese traditional culture, guqin music, with its unique timbre and profound cultural connotations, plays a positive role in the field of mental health. In modern society, the fast-paced lifestyle and increasing social estrangement have made loneliness and psychological alienation more prevalent. This paper explores the influence of guqin music on social loneliness and psychological alienation through its aesthetic characteristics, psychological mechanisms, and social functions. It also discusses the application prospects of guqin music in social psychological therapy.
