Abstract

The professional development of teachers is the main trend in current teacher education reforms and a central topic in research on teacher education. Teachers' professional ethics, as a crucial aspect of their professional development, is a significant indicator of their professional maturity. At present, China is in a key transitional stage from teacher occupational morality to professional ethics. Starting from the identity of teachers as individuals, this paper delves into three core dimensions: teachers’ natural life and morality, teachers’ social life and ethics, and teachers’ spiritual life and professional ethics. This deep exploration of the logical path of teachers' professional ethics further reveals the ethical dilemmas and essential problems faced by teachers in contemporary society, while also aiming to discover, from an ethical perspective, a path toward future identity recognition.
